January
- We had our first Cocktails with Direct Supply at Sip Coffee & Cocktails debuting our launch with Designs of Distinction. Who doesn’t love Espresso Martinis, Gallery Rail and Wood Accents?
February
- Michelle headed to Las Vegas for KBIS 2024 to scout out the latest trends and products in Kitchen and Bath. Anyone else seeing GREEN after this? Check out our full KBIS Recap blog here.
March
- Cocktails with Direct Supply at a new Champagne bar in Grand Rapids - Pursuit of Happiness Co. - Sponsored by Rehau Surfaces. We were all a little happier after this event.
April
- Heidi and Rob headed up North for the Barden Lumber’s Business Expo in Boyne City – A staple in the Boyne City community – we love celebrating other family-owned businesses milestones and events.
May
- Heidi attended KBIS ReCap with the Chicago NKBA Chapter at the Merchandise Mart for a day of CEU presentations and exploring the Mart.
- Direct Supply participated in the West Michigan Chapter NKBA event – Vendor Night and KBIS Recap with some other great West Michigan businesses.
June
- Company Fun Day – Barrio Tacos & Duck Pin Bowling – We love getting out into the world as a team and taking a break from the day-to-day to enjoy our time together. We might be partial, but we think our team is pretty great.
- Aimee and Michelle attended NeoCon in Chicago to research the latest trends in commercial interior design and office furniture. Check out our trends report.
August
- Rob and Michelle attended IWF this year in Atlanta to meet with our core woodworking brands, explore new products, and learn more about the challenges woodworkers face today and how we can help as a supply chain partner. We’re all ears here – if you have thoughts, comments or concerns – let us know!
October
- Direct Supply hosted the West Michigan NKBA chapter for a CEU on AI in interior design by the one and only Vanessa Dekoekkoek from Cincly. The future of our industry is changing fast and we’re happy to support spreading awareness of what’s going on.
- We celebrated our 35th anniversary in style with an Open House.
- 2025 Colors & Trends Presentation
- Over 20 vendor tables for hands on product questions, demos and more
- Great food and fellowship with those we’ve been so blessed to work with for 35 years.
- Heidi and two Direct Supply Inc. Cabinet dealers traveled to Mifflinburg, PA to tour the Legacy Crafted Cabinetry Plant.
- Direct Supply proudly sponsored the Built by Women event put on by some fantastic West Michigan organizations focused on promoting women in the construction trades. As a women owned business, we appreciate the construction industry and look for opportunities to lift each other up in it.
December
- Our team will enjoy a little healthy competition with a slow cooker cook-off challenge. Who will be the champion this year?
- Wolf Shower Training will be held here at Direct Supply. Wolf representatives will be showing us and some of our customers step-by-step how to install these Cultured Marble Showers.
