Corner Hinge Hardware Options
Selecting the right hardware for corner cabinets can be tricky and overwhelming.
Easy as Pie – Pie Cut and Bifold Corner Options
Cabinets with bi-fold doors have unique hardware requirements, and historically, we’ve always gotten a lot of questions about what hinge and baseplate combinations are needed. So, we made this quick reference guide to help with selecting the right pie cut corner hinge with our stock Salice hinge options for pie corners.
Pie Cut / Bifold Door Hardware
This info is also on page 5 of our stock hinge guide. It’s easiest for us to think of pie corner cabinets as two separate applications – the main door to frame and the two doors connected together.
Your desired overlay and cabinet construction are required to select the correct main door-to-frame hardware combination.
1. Main Door (hinge part # has dowels)
- FULL OVERLAY FRAMELESS - Hinge & BasePlate
- 1/2" OVERLAY FRAMELESS - Hinge & BasePlate
- HALF OVERLAY FRAMELESS - Hinge & BasePlate
- INSET FRAMELESS - Hinge & BasePlate
- FACE FRAME - 1-1/4" OVERLAY - Hinge & BasePlate
- FACE FRAME - 3/4" OVERLAY - Hinge & BasePlate
- FACE FRAME - 1/2" OVERLAY- Hinge & BasePlate

Using this flipper door hinge with a base plate allows you to detach the door quickly to make many adjustments if needed.
2. Pie Corner - Door to Door (hinge part # has dowels)
Great hinge to avoid flexing and sagging. Using a steel base plate helps support the door even more.
Note / Disclaimer: These are good to reference for Salice only, and are condensed down to what we recommend from our stock. There are other options available, and these may not be a fit for all applications. If using these to replace another brand or other hinges, verify cup sizes and drillings.
Blind Corner Hinges - Blind corners can come with unique attachment requirements. The C2R6N99AM is our preferred hinge for blind corner cabinets. It’s compatible with our traditional Salice baseplates.
